Cryodrome Relay March 29, 2025
Congratulations to the Blue Shell Turtles for winning the Cryodrome Relay, and to Jeremy for winning the Best Lap Time award!Thank you to everyone who came out to our undisclosed location today for such a very serious and prestigious event. Thank you for your blood, sweat, and coffee. Team Blue Shell Turtles had a cumulative time of 1 minute 57 seconds. Charlie rode first with a time of 39.29 seconds, then Jeremy with 33.01 seconds, and finally Joy with a time of 45.07 seconds. Well done, everyone!
Audio of the Relay was captured. We plan to digitize this and make it available to all racers.

Our final regularly scheduled ride for the season took us to Stauf's in German Village, where we wandered aimlessly down the alleyways. On our way there we stopped by the old, forgotten train mural in the Short North that's been covered up for years. Keep your eyes peeled for one-off rides in the off-season, and check out the other local rides like Wednesday Night Ride (that also meets at Thompson Rec) and Friday Night Ride (Topiary Park). Thank you to everyone who's showed up for a ride this year for making Cryodrome so fun. See you next season!

We ran errands on this edition of Cryodrome. First, we got Tessa’s favorite coffee. Second, we stopped by Paradise Garage for Anna. Then went to Prologue bookshop. We scoped the view from the Goodale Convention Center parking garage and from the garage on Pearl and Long. And we missed the rain entirely. See you next week for the final regularly scheduled ride!

Maybe one of my favorite Cryodromes to date. Stopped by Happy Little Treats first to celebrate their reopening. Then we squiggled through back alleys and saw the Italian kitty. We climbed another parking garage that's been on my bucket list, and we were pleasanly surprised at the lack of gate arms. We got caught in Crew traffic on the trail on our way to Winans in German Village. On our way back we swung by Spoonful Records on State and picked up a rarity. Thank goodness we got a snowy 'Drome. Amazing ride with some of our favorite people. Stopped at Winan's, popped inot the park, and nearly climbed a parking garage but stopped to avoid security. See you next week!
